Area Information
Kos, lies very close to the Asia Minor and 201 nautical miles from Piraeus. It has an area of 290 sq. km., a coastline of 112 km. and a population of 20,000. Kos can be reached by air from Athens and Rhodes or by ferry from Piraeus, Rafina, the Cyclades, the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean, Kavala, Crete, Rhodes and the other islands of the Dodecanese.
Travel Information
Hotel Alexandra is located in the center of Kos town 200m from the harbour and 400 from the "organized" beaches. It's the highest building of Kos with excellent view.

Minor things could further improve the experience, such as: - the cover of the siphon in the bathroom of our room (203) was broken - the breakfast could become more interesting if it presented some local products, or if it included fewer staff, but avoided pre-baked pastries or cakes that are sold in the supermarket. I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and visitors, given that the view of the front rooms is mesmerizing.
